General (political statement of goals, objectives, views, philosophies)

Are you frustrated with the current state of our government and its dysfunction?

Well, you are not alone. Congress has the lowest approval rating of all time, at 10%. Do you want to see your US representatives working together to solve the issues of our state and nation? If you want real change in government, you have to vote for it. Choose the Green party candidate running in your district. Do not let the Republicans or Democrats distract you from the real issues with their rhetoric. They will tell you that a vote for a "third" party candidate is a wasted vote. No vote that represents your values is a wasted vote! The "independents" are the fastest growing segment in voter registrations.

I am running a grassroots campaign for Congress because I want to be a part of the solution, not just talk about the problems. I want to help the voters be informed about what is going on, not controlled by sound bites, fear, and their emotions. Americans are a resilient bunch! Together we CAN make a difference. I accept no lobbyist, special interest, or PAC donations, so I only have to answer to the voters.

My priorities and legislation that I would support amongst others are:

*Universal health care - Single payer system

*Solar and alternative energy options

*Balanced budget

*Sustainable, intelligent use of our natural resources

*Green jobs creation

*Ending the wars responsibly

*Immigration reform
